Photo Days

We will be taking individual photos on Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th September. Due to logistical challenges, we will be taking sibling photos from 8am on a first-come first-served basis. If you would like a sibling photo, please come to the Lower Hall via pond view between 8am and 8.50am on Monday. You will need to wait with your children in the playground after their photo unless they have breakfast club. We will do the same on Tuesday - location TBC.
We understand this will not be convenient for all parents, but we have exhausted all other options.
Individual photos will take place on Monday and Tuesday during the school day as usual. We are aware of some trips and sports competitions taking place and will ensure those children are included.

Reception and Nursery will be photographed first on Monday morning. Please kindly ensure children arrive on time so as not to miss their slot.

Peaceful School Run Workshop

Peaceful School Run.jpg

We would like to invite you to a free one-hour online workshop for parents, led by psychologist Una Archer, focusing on creating a calmer and more peaceful start to the school day.
For some families, getting out of the door in the morning can be one of the most stressful parts of the day. Busy mornings, difficulties getting ready, and the pressure of leaving on time can leave both children and parents feeling overwhelmed before the school day has even begun.
This workshop offers practical ideas to help parents create a calmer emotional environment in the mornings, while supporting children to become more involved and organised in getting ready for school.
During the session, we explore:

  1. How to create a calm and supportive emotional environment in the mornings
  2. Ways to encourage children to take a more active role in getting ready
  3. Practical strategies to help families leave home on time

The workshop is interactive and gives parents an opportunity to reflect on their own mornings, share experiences, and explore practical strategies that can make the school run feel more manageable and peaceful.

Please see the attached poster for full session details or click on the direct links to register for your preferred time slot.

Lunches

We politely ask that parents choose either packed lunches or school dinners for their children. Several children are either alternating day to day, or having both options especially on Friday. Unfortunately, following the message in last week’s reminders, this continues to be a concern. This is impacting the kitchen’s ability to cook the correct number of meals each day. With the exception of the World Food Day Celebration on 1st October, children who have packed lunches must only eat the lunch they bring with them to school. Thank you for your support.
